DeTOS Windows XPe PXE and 6010s [close] There are two different ways to find the current firmware version of your DeTOS thin client: 1. The top of the Launcher window will read Launcher - DeTOS v, followed by the version number. 2. On older DeTOS builds, the version is not displayed in Launcher. If this is the case, then you will have to go into the Setup window to find it. Select System -> Setup. Near the top of this window will be the word Setup V, followed by the version number. The version number for Windows XPe is reported in the About dialog box, found under the START menu. This can be accessed from either the Administrator or User's desktop. 1. Select Start -> ABOUT 2. The version number will be displayed in this dialog box Please use the following guidelines for PXE boot or 6010 terminals. PXE Boot Models: These models rely on a PXE Server for their OS image. If you know the type of PXE Server you are using, please enter the distribution name and version of it in the Firmware Version field. (For example: Edubuntu 7.10). If you are unsure, then simply type in the word PXE for the firmware version field. Legacy 6010 Thin Clients: If you are using one of our discontinued 6010 models, then simply type the number 6010 in the firmware version field.
